Pebbles, mix (4 y/o), Prospect Park, Brooklyn, NY • “She was found on the side of the road in Mississippi as a puppy – she had maggots living in her. She’s a lover – she needs to be in your skin at all times. I had some health issues in 2023. I had to bring her to my mom because I fell while walking her when I was going through chemo, which was really hard. This is cheesy, but she’s the reason I get up in the morning. I have a routine because of her. I got her during the pandemic when my mental health was at an all time low. She’s been with me through everything – two big surgeries, chemo.” @pebblestherescue_, a rescue via @luckydogrefuge
